The woodcutter's Cottage 850/9 Candlestick

With echoes of the mysterious elements found in Emma’s iconic Peggy’s House, wood smoke bellows from the chimney of a woodcutter’s cottage, itself woven tightly into the body of the candlestick against a Winter’s night. Bare trunks, will soon fall onto the patchwork of grass and bushes at the foot of the candlestick. For now, the woodcutter rests peacefully by a log-filled fire, its glow emanating from the mullions within the large sash window of The Woodcutter’s Cottage.
