Happy Staffies - Master 769/4 Ginger Jar
Although originally bred in the Nineteenth Century to be a small, fast fighting dog, times have changed and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is now regarded as a fine companion known for its courage, intelligence and affection and was voted Britain’s favourite dog breed in 2019.
Vicky paints a three-section design upon a Moorcroft ginger jar. In one window, a Blue Staffie wears a huge, daft grin with a ridiculous tongue lolling out to the side. The next pane sees a pair of puppies, one Brindle and one brown, cuddled up together, with silky smooth brows met by mink-soft ears. The third pane sees a black Staffie, proud and handsome, with his nose purposefully in the air. Vicky wraps the four hounds in ribbons of Staffordshire knots and completes the ginger jar lid with a knot on top.
