Jack o'Lantern 769/2 Ginger Jar

A Jack-o’-lantern is carved most commonly from a pumpkin, and over the years has become a symbol of All Hallow’s Eve. Its name comes from the tales of strange flickering lights, seen by travellers in years gone by over peat bogs, swamps and marshes, that created a ghostly light. Today, pumpkin carving is a source of fun for families and friends alike and Julie-Anne’s Jack-o’-lantern is no exception. On one side it has face filled with warning, while on the other is a friendly crooked smile to welcome those hoping for sweet treats at the houses they visit on Halloween.
