Moorcroft Auction | Friday 31st July and Saturday 1st August | Commission Bids

Our auction will take place during our Midsummer Fair event at the Heritage Visitor Centre on Friday 31^st July and Saturday 1^st August. It will feature designs from our recent past, including rare trials and production pieces, all of which have been reimagined in striking new colourways selected by Moorcroft staff members. 

The auction will be conducted by Will Farmer of Fieldings Auctioneers, Stourbridge. Will is our brand ambassador, career auctioneer and member of SOFFA.

For those who cannot attend the auction in person (booking required), but love the excitement and don’t want to miss out, we are accepting commission bids which will be managed by Will from the rostrum. 

Commission bids should be emailed to Moorcroft no later than 1pm on Thursday 30^th July.  We cannot guarantee that bids received after this time will be registered.

CONDITIONS OF SALE

• Each design is one of two made, each numbered on the base accordingly.
• All bids must be in Pounds Sterling.
• All lots carry a bottom estimate reserve with auctioneers’ discretion.
• Bid increments are at the discretion of the auctioneer but your maximum bid will not be exceeded.
• Once made, bids are irrevocable, and by making a bid, the Bidder agrees to accept the Conditions of Sale.
• All auction lots sold each day are sold as found.
• No representation or warranty is given as to the quality or condition of each auction lot.
• The auctioneer’s decision on any dispute is final and binding.
• There is no Buyers’ Premium on any lot.
• Copyright and all intellectual property rights in each lot remain in the ownership of W. Moorcroft Ltd.
• Where postage of items is required, charges will be applicable. Postage is £8.50 to mainland UK addresses. We will endeavour to provide a postage quote to our customers who are further afield before the auction takes place.
