Winter Aconite 98/3 Candlestick
Swathes of Eranthis hyemalis, or winter aconite as it is more commonly known, dress the foot of this candlestick with their cheerful cup-shaped buttery-yellow flowers. Surrounded by divided leafy bracts, basal leaves are rich green, and divide into multiple lobes to circle the foot of the candlestick like sleepy rabbit-ears as the petals themselves lift their golden flames of curiosity.
