Tubelining Masterclass Experience at the Moorcroft Heritage Visitor Centre - Friday 10th May - Book Now

Now you have seen us demonstrate our artistry, craftsmanship and heritage skills on the Great Pottery Throw Down, why not try your hand yourself? Watching the contestants of channel 4’s challenging Throw Down may look easy to some – but a steady hand and a keen eye are simply the start! Don’t worry, on our masterclass day, we will be on hand to help you every step of the way as you decorate your very own Moorcroft coaster – which is a little easier than the Moorcroft ginger jar shape!. Your coaster will also be dipped in our special vitreous glaze and fired for your pleasure, before being sent to you as a keepsake of your very own tubelining challenge in the Applied Arts.

Please note that you will be tubelining a coaster in the same design as that which appeared on The Great Pottery Throw Down, Queens Choice. To find out more about this design, please read our feature, The Legacy of Queen’s Choice

We will be hosting our Tubelining Masterclass Experience on Tuesday 28th March 2023 and Tuesday 18th April 2023.  There will be two sessions on each day to choose from.
