Over Silent Skies PLQ23 Plaque

2026 marks the 90th anniversary of the legendary Supermarine Spitfire, one of the most famous and celebrated British fighter aircraft in aviation history.

During the summer of 1940, its exceptional speed, agility and performance played a vital role in defending Britain against German air attacks during the Battle of Britain, securing its place in history as one of the finest Allied fighter aircraft of its time.
