Festive food plays an important role at Christmas as we indulge in roast turkey, pigs in blankets, mince pies, yule log and plum pudding to name but a few such treats. The highlight of the Christmas dinner for many is the Christmas pudding, filled with dried fruit, candied peel, apple and citrus zests that has been well soaked in brandy, creating its signature dark colour. Rachel’s pudding is topped with white icing and sprigs of holly and berries.
