Moorcroft Club General Terms & Conditions:

  1. Moorcroft Ltd reserves the right to refuse any application for membership without giving reason.
  2. Moorcroft Ltd reserves the right to close applications for any membership level at any time.
  3. If an application for membership is made and accepted in the name of more than one person (a joint application) only one set of membership privileges will be available.
  4. Moorcroft Club discount is only available to the named Membership holder.
  5. Moorcroft will endeavour to post any and all complimentary items together. On occasions where there may be a delay with one or more complimentary items, Moorcroft may consider sending items separately.
  6. Club designs, whether complimentary or chargeable are ordered on a first-come, first-served basis, and are scheduled into production accordingly. Any estimated delivery date must be accepted as approximate only.
  7. Complimentary Moorcroft Home items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  8. Once issued, factory tours can be transferred from the member to a friend or family member. Your friend or family member must quote your membership number when booking a factory tour.
  9. Where a discount voucher code for the Annual Club vase is available, this voucher code can be used only once within the year of membership.
  10. Once granted, membership cannot be cancelled during the following twelve months, nor will a refund for unexpired time of the membership become due.
  11. Moorcroft Club discount is only available at the Moorcroft Heritage Visitor Centre, online at moorcroft.com or at external events hosted by Moorcroft. The membership discount scheme may operate with other retailers but this is entirely at the retailers’ discretion.
  12. Moorcroft Ltd may at any time change the membership number allocated to the Member.
  13. If any person involved in the provision of membership benefits becomes unable to perform their obligations, Moorcroft may substitute an alternative person to undertake the tasks.
  14. No liability shall be attached to W. Moorcroft Ltd or any of its directors if the company becomes unable to fulfil any of the specified membership benefits through circumstances beyond its or their control.
  15. In case of dispute, the decision of W. Moorcroft Ltd will be final and binding.

 

Signature Members Personalised Moorcroft Design Terms & Conditions:

  1. Signature Members are entitled to one Personalised Moorcroft Design which must be ordered within their membership year.
  2. The design must be an existing Moorcroft design, that is agreed to be altered / personalised by Moorcroft.
  3. Personalisation can include an underglaze inscription (space permitting), a tubelined name or short message, or even a change to the design colourway. Other requests can be discussed and agreed in advance of any work being undertaken.
  4. The final price of the chosen design may differ to the original retail price of the design depending on the amount of work due to be undertaken. Moorcroft will advise of the cost before proceeding with any personalisation.
  5. Moorcroft will cover the cost of the personalised item up to the retail value of £750. Any payment over and above this amount must be paid in advance before work can begin.
  6. Club membership discount is not applicable on personalised pieces.
  7. After the personalisation has been approved, and any necessary payment has been made, Moorcroft will schedule the item into production at a time which best dovetails into current production schedules, and any quoted delivery date must be accepted as approximate only.
  8. The finished piece must be accepted on a ‘run-of-kiln’ basis which means that it shall be accepted in terms of both quality, condition and aesthetic appeal after it emerges from the kiln after the final glost firing.
  9. Moorcroft reserves the right in its unfettered discretion to decline to make any design without giving reasons and without liability.

 

Exclusive Members Bespoke Plaque Terms & Conditions:

  1. Exclusive Members are entitled to one Bespoke Plaque OR Personalised Moorcroft Design which must be ordered within their membership year.
  2. If choosing a Personalised Moorcroft Design, see terms above.
  3. For Bespoke Plaques you can choose from a wide selection of current Moorcroft plaque templates, with a design of your choice that is approved and supplied for proofing by Moorcroft.
  4. Design linework must be original work or an original photograph from the applicant submitting the design.
  5. Alternatively, you are able to book a 2-hour time slot with a Moorcroft designer who will assist in the creation of your design. Your time with a designer must be booked in advance and must fit in around Moorcroft working patterns and schedules. If for any reason our designer is unable to attend on your pre-booked date, where possible, we will notify you in advance. In the unlikely event of a designer being unable to attend your pre-booked session, a member of our production team will assist with your design.
  6. All copyright in original designs submitted to Moorcroft and implemented shall become the copyright of Moorcroft from the moment of implementation and permanently thereafter. The applicant indemnifies Moorcroft against all costs, claims, damages or demands made by a third party whose copyright has been, or is alleged to have been, infringed by the applicant or the person on whose behalf an applicant submits a design.
  7. Submitted designs will only be used to make the piece within Moorcroft and to avoid infringing Moorcroft copyright, the design should not be used or offered elsewhere for any other purpose whatsoever.
  8. At the time of submission of an original design, or as soon thereafter as is reasonable, Moorcroft will give a quotation for the cost of making the piece.
  9. Moorcroft will cover the cost of the design up to the retail value of £1,500. Any payment over and above this amount must be paid in advance before work can begin.
  10. Club membership discount is not applicable on bespoke pieces.
