Royal Society for the Protection of Birds Event at Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire
Saturday 30th March
In order to return essential funds to them, our relationship with the RSPB continues to grow year on year as we stride forward with the charity bringing a wealth of naturalistic designs inspired by their ground-breaking work.
Nature reserves are at the heart of what the RSPB do. They are vital to their conservation work and offer spaces for everyone to get close to nature. In recent years we have had the pleasure of visiting the RSPB headquarters and its nature reserve in Sandy, followed by a smaller nature reserve, RSPB Pullborough Brooks, set in the sheltered Arun Valley and within the South Downs National Park.
This year, we are delighted to invite you to our event at Sherwood Forest, now home to a brand-new Visitor Centre, which only opened in August 2018. Within the Visitor Centre you will find a café, selling freshly made produce, The Sherwood Shop, full to the brim of gifts for all tastes and occasions, including, naturally, Robin Hood and Sherwood mementos.
During our event day in Sherwood Forest, you will be invited to enjoy a lecture by Moorcroft Managing Director, Elise Adams, and a short ‘Welcome to Sherwood’ talk by a RSPB representative and a guided tour. Tickets will cost £10 per person and include tea or coffee and a slice of cake and a free parking pass for use on the day.
Book now at moorcroft.com/ticket or call us on 01782 820510
In addition, you will be free to visit the Moorcroft Exhibition area, where you can enjoy a special preview of our 2019 RSPB Collection and The Sherwood Collection, plus take the opportunity to acquire nature-inspired design trials. Take a woodland walk around this most famous of all forests with trails to cover all fitness levels, interests and durations, from a short and sweet nature trail to a whole day amongst the giant, ancient oaks.
If you simply wish to come along and see Moorcroft on the day, entrance to the Visitor Centre is completely free of charge but parking fees may apply.
