Berlin Ruffles 769/6 Ginger Jar

Hybridized by Tomas Tamberg in 1993, iris Berlin Ruffles is unmistakable. Bearing purple-flushed, deep violet-blue flowers with upright standards and white-marked, veined falls, the bloom unfolds against a black ground akin to the style of vintage Japanese wallpapers. To add gravitas to this design, fiery burnt orange and yellow freesias explode into bloom like a celestial storm, causing the iris Berlin Ruffles own meteor-purples to create a high intensity visual.
