The Circuit PLQ16 Plaque

Somehow Moorcroft designer, Paul Hilditch, managed to find an interesting old photo of Goodwood in its racing glory days, where giant haystacks, canvas tents and the old airfield tower were a stone’s throw from the track. The field would have consisted of the iconic sports cars of the 1950s and 1960s - where Healeys, HRG’s and a Mycroft-Jaguars roared in wild abandonment. But there was a catch. All the old footage was in black and white. Fortuitously, with further reserve and some imagination Paul captures the scene in sporting greens, tuxedo blacks, racing reds and the legendary Bugatti-Blues. As the cars come hurtling towards the chequered flag, Paul takes us to the side-lines, where there are no barriers from the speed and the noise, to experience the raw heat of competition from the circuit.
