Racing Frogeye Sprites 198/5 Vase

Although known to race at Goodwood, the Frogeye Sprites were primarily associated with the Circuit of Ireland, and over the years, these compact little movers have received a cult following notwithstanding their single greatest weak point – they held a double curvature Plexiglass windscreen that made night-driving, particularly in the wet, very difficult to say the least. Captured on this apt squat-shaped vase, the quirky little Frogeye Sprites fly past like clumsy beetles jostling for food as one driver spins at the hairpin and another takes avoiding action to heighten the drama of these nostalgic racing cars.
