Pugin's Gem 317/9 Lidded Vase

Limited Edition
Lidded Vase

St Giles Catholic Church in Cheadle, Staffordshire is considered to be one of the finest of all the churches built by the celebrated nineteenth century architect, writer and designer Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin. His prolific output included the interior designs for the Palace of Westminster and over one hundred churches and cathedrals, of which St Giles’ Catholic Church is a shining example.

Vicky’s design celebrates the church’s beautiful stained glass. “I have wanted to do a design based on ‘Pugin’s Gem’ as the interior is absolutely unreal. You can’t believe that this architectural wonder is sitting on our doorstep. I recommend that everyone should go and visit. It’s well worth putting a pound in the donation box to switch the lights on for 20 minutes and marvel at the church’s interior.” – Vicky Lovatt.
