Masterpiece in Yellow 137/12 Vase

Iris G.P.Baker is one of those historic irises that delight generation after generation and comes from the father of the famous Black Prince iris, Amos Perry. G.P.Baker was awarded the British Dykes Medal in 1930, with what is said to have been the greatest achievement in light to medium shades of yellow iris. Ninety-two years later, Moorcroft designer, Kerry Goodwin, triumphs with her vase featuring the famous G.P.Baker iris. With standards of rich primrose yellow which flutter down into falls of canary yellow with dazzling fawn-coloured tail beards, these giant flowers fan out on their profusely branching stalks from the base of this elegant vase. The result? A masterpiece in yellow.
