Seafarer's Dawn - Number 1 317/9 Lidded Vase

The precipitous coast at Bempton Cliffs has around 500,000 pairs of breeding seabirds. Gannets, guillemots, kittiwakes and puffins nest on the ledges of the 400-feet high cliffs, inspiring Moorcroft designer Vicky Lovatt to create a design on an epic scale. Red campion flowers erupt like a thousand miniature volcanoes in stark contrast to the brilliant-white chalk cliffs that disappear into a seafarer’s dawn in line upon line of rocky outlets and hidden coves. This is life on the edge – the sights, sounds and smells of soaring, swooping gannets combine with panoramic sea views to create an unforgettable seafarer’s dawn.
